In 2023 my active but elderly mother tripped in the garden.
Breaking her nose and injuring her spine meant she couldn't move arms, hands or legs for many weeks.
After originally spending four months in hospital my mum can shuffle around with walking aids in her own home.
Neighbours do a lot for my mum like keeping her company, a little bit of shopping, gardening.
They never want payment or gifts. So, I realised the one thing I can do for them is personal paintings. No one objects to a pet portrait do they ?
I am not usually a pet portrait artist but I am working on a couple of oil paintings as gifts. Starting off with two dogs.
Sharing my talents I can do something from my heart for them in return.
